RATIO ET MOTUS — Latin, translated as “Sense and Emotion.” Ratio Et Motus was established 2018 in New York City by Angela Wang and Shenghao Li. The brand focuses on fine leather goods, referencing vintage accessories with the clean-lined utility of modern life. A luxurious material palette, Italian craftsmanship, and considered design details endow each piece with both beauty and longevity.

SUSTAINABILITY

A note on sustainability — As a nascent brand within an industry so gravely harmful to our environment, Ratio Et Motus is conscious of its responsibility to practice sustainably. All leathers are sourced from local Italian tanneries with a mission of low carbon footprint, minimum toxic wastage, low water consumption, and ethical supply chain. All leathers are byproducts of the meat industry; all linings are water-repellent and made from a fully vegan leather. All customized hardware is made with nickel-free plating.
