RETURN & REFUND 

At RATIO, we take immense pride in the craftsmanship and quality of our leather handbags. Our commitment is to deliver products that meet or exceed your expectations. However, we understand that there may be instances where you may need to return a product due to a fault or defect. To ensure a smooth and hassle-free return process, we have outlined our return policy below:

We only accept returns for products that are found to be faulty or defective upon delivery. If you receive a leather handbag from RATO that exhibits any manufacturing or material defects, we will gladly assist you in returning and replacing the item.


RETURN ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for a return due to a faulty product, the following conditions must be met:
1. The return request must be initiated within 14 days from the date of purchase or delivery, whichever is later.
2. The product must be in its original condition, unused, and with all tags, labels, and packaging intact.
3. You must provide proof of purchase, such as the order number or purchase receipt.
4. The fault or defect must be attributable to a manufacturing or material issue, as opposed to normal wear and tear or misuse.

INITIATING A RETURN
If you believe you have received a faulty product, please follow these steps to initiate the return process:
1. Contact our Customer Service team at hello@ratioetmotus.com to report the issue and request a Return Authorization.

RETURN SHIPPING
RATIO will provide you with a prepaid return shipping label to cover the cost of returning the faulty product. Please use this label to return the item promptly.

INSPECTION AND REPLACEMENT
Once we receive the faulty product, our quality control team will inspect it to verify the manufacturing or material defect. If the defect is confirmed, we will replace the item with an identical product. If the exact product is no longer available, we will offer you a suitable alternative or a refund at your discretion.

REFUNDS
If you prefer a refund for a confirmed faulty product, we will process it within 7 business days after receiving and inspecting the returned item. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

FINAL SALE
Final sale items are not subject to return. We may accept exchange on final sale items based on a case by case policy.

Even though our bags are made of premium quality materials,
 extra care should be taken to keep your bag in perfect condition:

Our bags are handmade in Italy using sustainably sourced deadstock materials. Skins are smooth-surfaced and treated for a soft and luxurious hand feel. Each piece of leather is unique, so color differences or vein marks may appear and are natural features. This adds to the charm and character of your luxury leather item.


TO CARE FOR YOUR BAG

* Wipe regularly with a soft, dry cloth

* We advise against over-filling your bag to conserve its original shape

* Avoid contact with darker-colored materials

* In case of accidental scratches, reduce by massaging the skin gently

* Store in the provided dust bag for minimal exposure to dust and the elements

* Protect from exposure to extreme (sun)light and humidity

* Avoid contact with grease, mud, dirt, rough surfaces, and rain

* Limit the exposure to abrasive surfaces and humid environments to minimize the wear on hardware

* Extra care should be taken to protect white and light-colored handbags

* Clean by a leather specialist only
